PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the continuous studies of new programs/courses or review of the current program/course curriculum with the Academic Team to ensure programs and courses offered are up-to-date, accredited and meet the industry/clients’/students’ requirements focusing on authentic experiences, and interactive engagement with the students.
  • Support the students, in conjunction with the Academicians, in students’ social and emotional development and advise students regarding their academic planning needs.
  • Remain current regarding information on colleges, scholarships, financial aid, issues and trends in college life, college admissions, & testing.
  • Present the Company’s opportunities & options, assist with applications and financial-aid applications, and provide support for scholarship searches for students and parents, where appropriate.
  • Develop, manage, and monitor plans to uphold motivational programs for the students. Liaise with local learning institutions and agencies to develop character building amongst the students.
  • Plan, develop, manage and conduct mentoring services to ALAM’s student’s campus. Provide individual and group counselling, mentoring and guidance to help student as per requirements.
  • Plan, manage and conduct life skills programs/religious activities/clubs (stress management, time management and leadership program).
  • Keep track and records of students especially on disciplinary – merit and demerit points – and to ensure all students to finish their studies successfully. Compiling all records accordingly and to report to the Managements as required.
  • Plan, conduct and manage CSR amongst students to represent ALAM in social work. Train students in management of planning, conducting, managing and executing the CSR as planned.
  • Assist the department as assigned by the Management.
  • Responsible for overseeing the operations of the ALAM Islamic Center as well as the management of Tabung Amanah Zakat ALAM (TAZA).

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant working experience in Education industry with 3 years’ experience in managing counselling matters for students.

QUALIFICATION

  • Master/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Education, Counselling Management, Social Science or related discipline.

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
