<strong>Director, Real Assets<br><br></strong>Aksia is an alternative assets specialist, providing investment solutions for institutional investors globally. Our business provides clients with investment management, advisory, and research services across hedge funds, private credit, private equity, real assets, and real estate. As of October 31, 2024, Aksia has $353.8 billion in assets under supervision across a variety of investment structures.<br><br><strong>Position Overview<br><br></strong>Aksia is seeking an experienced Real Assets professional with 10+ years of infrastructure transaction advisory or financing experience. This role will lead investment processes with respect to primary fund commitments, co-investments and secondaries transactions, and help drive the team’s build-out of proprietary deal data. This position can be in Aksia's London office, or in any of our US offices.<br><br>We are looking for a candidate who can apply a practitioner’s lens on investment opportunities and naturally builds industry information networks across different types of participation. This candidate must demonstrate a track record of independent thinking and a willingness to challenge conventional wisdom to be successful in this role.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead sourcing and evaluation of real asset opportunities with focus on infrastructure co-investments, primaries and secondaries</li><li>Manage external GP/sourcing partner relationships to drive additional investment deal flow</li><li>Apply critical analysis to all investment opportunities</li><li>Manage and develop investment professionals</li><li>Support client-facing teams with market and deal updates</li><li>Participate in client and prospect meetings</li><li>Collaborate with legal, operations, risk, and other internal stakeholders<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ years of infrastructure experience in transaction advisory, or financing background in infrastructure deals</li><li>Demonstrated ability to think critically and independently evaluate investment opportunities from multiple perspectives</li><li>Comfortable expressing well-reasoned skepticism about investment opportunities</li><li>Strong financial modeling and analytical skills</li><li>Excellent communication and networking abilities</li></ul>
