Together, these businesses form a unique ecosystem, connecting fresh talent with thriving creative companies.
The Role
We’re seeking a passionate and visionary Freelance Marketing Manager to join us on a flexible basis (1–2 days per week) and play a crucial role in shaping the future of London Fields Design School and London Software Training. This is your chance to influence the growth and impact of two innovative creative businesses and help define how we inspire, educate, and connect the next generation of creative talent.
What You’ll Do
Lead and inspire the marketing function, crafting authentic stories that resonate with creative talent and industry partners
Drive social media engagement and paid advertising campaigns that amplify our reach and impact
Mentor and support junior marketing and design team members, fostering growth and creativity
Build meaningful connections between students and creative companies by creating internship and job opportunities through targeted outreach
Collaborate closely with the sales team to unlock new business potential and partnerships
Write compelling copy that captures our mission and ignites excitement across websites, newsletters, and press materials
Manage media relations, press releases, and advertorials that elevate our profile in the creative education space
Lead newsletter creation to nurture and engage our community
Support website refresh and rebuild projects that reflect our evolving brand and vision
Promote design events, webinars, and initiatives that inspire and connect our audience
Use insights, market trends, and competitor analysis to refine a data-driven marketing strategy
Create engaging videos, case studies, and testimonials that showcase our impact and build lasting brand awareness
What We’re Looking For
A strategic thinker and proactive doer who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment
Exceptional copywriting skills with a talent for storytelling that inspires action
Adobe Creative Suite and Google Ads (AdWords) experience is a plus—but not essential; your passion and vision matter most
Experience managing and developing junior team members
Strong background in social media marketing, paid advertising, and email marketing campaigns
A genuine appreciation for design, creativity, and the transformative power of education
Self-motivated, collaborative, and ready to take ownership and drive real impact
