<strong>Job Title:</strong> Precision Machining Engineer (CNC / EDM)<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> Singapore<br><br><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> 5-Day Work Week<br><br>Role Overview<br><br>We are seeking a skilled Precision Machining Engineer to support the production of high-accuracy components using Sodick CNC and EDM technology. This position focuses on machine optimisation, precision setup, process control, and maintaining strict dimensional tolerances within a manufacturing environment.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Set up, operate, and optimise CNC EDM wire cut equipment </li><li>Execute CNC programming tasks including ACAM-based machining processes </li><li>Analyse and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and machining specifications </li><li>Fine-tune machining parameters to achieve required tolerances and surface finishes </li><li>Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments and CMM systems </li><li>Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions </li><li>Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure machine reliability </li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in tooling, fixtures, and automation </li><li>Comply with company SOPs, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards, and 5S practices </li><li>Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor <br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Diploma or Higher Nitec in Precision Engineering or related discipline </li><li>At least 3 years of hands-on experience in CNC and EDM machining </li><li>Strong working knowledge of UGS and MasterCAM (2D/3D) </li><li>Ability to interpret AutoCAD and 3D technical drawings </li><li>Experience in micro-machining and tight tolerance production environments<br><br><br></li></ul>Aurora Asia (21C0671) | Stephanie Luan (R21100585)
