The role sits in the finance function but works closely with IT, driving better data usage, reducing reliance on spreadsheets, and enabling more effective decision-making across the organisation.</p><p><b>You’ll be doing:</b></p><ul><li>Lead the transition from legacy finance systems to Workday and expand Power BI usage across the finance team</li><li>Own and deliver finance data reporting and controls, bridging the gap between finance and IT</li><li>Partner with finance directors and senior leaders to align priorities and build a unified data approach</li><li>Manage a virtual team of Power BI champions, guiding best practice and embedding governance</li></ul><p><b>What we’re looking for:</b></p><ul><li>Strong finance background, <b>Qualified Accountant</b> (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent Post Graduate accounting qualification)</li><li>Expertise in <b>Power BI, DAX and SQL</b></li><li>Ability to translate complex technical topics into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders</li><li>Experience working with IT teams on data architecture and governance</li><li>Self-starter with strong organisational skills and collaborative approach</li></ul><p>This is a high-profile role with scope to grow as their data landscape matures following Workday implementation.</p><p><b>If you’re interested, or know someone who might be, please get in touch directly for a confidential discussion.</b></p>
