Schedule and Hours:
- Full-time, contract position for the full school year
Key Experience & Qualifications:
- Active RN license required
- Minimum of one year of experience as a school nurse
- Skilled in pediatric care, including 1:1 support and group settings
- Familiarity with needs across early childhood, elementary, middle, and high school students
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, students, parents, and staff
- Open to travel or local candidates
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and health education to students individually and in classroom settings
- Provide 1:1 care and monitoring for pupils with complex medical needs
- Respond promptly to student emergencies and assess health concerns
- Collaborate with educational and clinical staff to develop health plans and ensure compliance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with school policies and HIPAA standards
- Promote the wellness and safety of the student community
