Qualifications:
- Valid and active Registered Nurse license in the state
- Previous experience in school nursing and/or pediatric care preferred
- Ability to provide comprehensive 1:1 care in an educational setting
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled 1:1 care for a medically fragile student, attending to their daily health needs
- Manage and monitor medical equipment or procedures as required
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Ensure a safe, supportive environment for the students learning and development
- Maintain thorough, accurate health documentation and collaborate with educational staff and healthcare professionals
- Provide health education and support as needed throughout the school day
