As an extension of the CEO’s office, the Strategy Support department is responsible for helping Publix leadership turn strategic priorities into well-executed outcomes that improve performance and enable long-term growth. The team brings clarity to priorities, aligns leaders and teams, and drives disciplined execution—delivering speed and impact on the initiatives that matter most. As a Strategy Team Leader, you serve as an internal consultant and trusted thought partner to senior leaders—helping them shape long-term strategy, translate ambition into action, and drive disciplined execution. In this role, roughly 45–50% of initiatives are spent leading recommendation efforts, tackling ambiguous enterprise problems, and providing the analysis and context leaders need to assess options, costs, and tradeoffs. Ideal candidates have the skills to lead without authority, driving large project teams to deliver quality and accurate information quickly and efficiently. You partner with your assigned business area's vice president and leadership team to define five-year strategic trajectories and measure progress towards those goals. Additionally, you collaborate across business area leadership teams to lead multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives. In Publix's corporate offices, we value in-person interactions, similar to those our store associates have with customers.
