Coleman Worldwide Moving is seeking hardworking and energetic loaders, packers, movers, and warehouse personnel for our various service centers. ## What You'll Be Doing
Your day-to-day responsibilities will keep you engaged and moving. You'll wrap household goods for transit, perform packing jobs as needed, and lift and carry household goods between residences and vehicles. You'll assist in loading trucks and containers for interstate commerce, conduct pre-trip inspections alongside drivers covering truck interiors, straps, tensioners, and walk-boards, complete household goods inventory, and perform warehouse work as needed. Other duties will be assigned as they come up.
## What We're Looking For
You need to be willing to travel locally, intrastate, and interstate. Good communication skills are essential, and you must have a high school diploma or GED. A Real ID compliant ID or driver's license is preferred. The minimum age for employment is 17.
## Working Conditions
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work. You'll be lifting objects up to 50 pounds regularly, with frequent squatting, bending, and use of stairs. It's a physically active position that keeps you out of factories, assembly lines, and behind cash registers.
## Compensation and Benefits
The compensation rate for this position is $17-$18 per hour depending on experience. Full-time employees receive 8 paid holidays after 90 days. After 1 year of employment, you'll earn 40 hours of vacation pay. We offer an array of voluntary health benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k options. ## Special Opportunities for College Students
We're proud to support post-secondary education through our Summer Intern Scholarship Program. If you're a summer seasonal associate working as a Helper, Packer, Driver, Warehouseman, or in another Service Center operational non-management position, you could qualify for scholarships toward your tuition. The program offers $500 for your first full summer internship, $750 for your second, and $1,000 for your third or more. You'll need to show proof of enrollment in school for the coming fall classes and work full time through the scheduled season with accommodations made for school dates. Good work performance and attendance acknowledged by your supervisor are also required.
