The Warehouse Supervisor in the afternoon is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse during the afternoon shift. This includes supervising the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of goods. Key Role Responsibilities:
Organise and manage the night of the warehouse team.
Unsure the communication between the warehouse team and the other departments, in order to sort any issue (returns, delivery issue, special request.
Receive deliveries as per the work instruction.
Inspect goods in order to ensure that packaging & products specifications are met.
Prepare sales orders, mark and label boxes
Obtain, move, sort and organise products in the warehouse.
Check temperature on suppliers’ deliveries
Check products against purchase orders: code, product description, size, number, packaging, quality and general aspect.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness, working to the “clean as you go” policy and following the cleaning procedures and instructions
Load or unload vans & trucks.
Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
Duly fill in production sheets so as to ensure product traceability.
