About the position

The Warehouse Associate position at Core-Mark involves selecting and preparing food and non-food products for customer orders in a multi-level rack warehouse environment. Responsibilities

  • Select cases and containers of food and non-food products to fill customer orders.

  • Place items on pallets and move completed orders to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack/forklift.
    • ,
  • Wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment in a timely manner while observing safety regulations.
    • ,
  • Follow preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.
    • ,
  • Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions immediately.
    • ,
  • Review work schedule and obtain necessary supplies for operations.
    • ,
  • Perform safety checks on pallet jack/forklift and ensure all safety devices are functioning properly.
    • ,
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.
    • ,
  • Meet productivity and accuracy standards as per location and company guidelines.
    • ,
  • Transport completed palletized customer orders to the shipping dock staging area.
    • ,
  • Shrink-wrap pallets for staging as required.
    • ,
  • Complete necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
    • ,
  • 6-12 months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
    • ,
  • Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.
    • ,
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
    • ,
  • Ability to lift and stack products between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the shift.
    • ,
  • Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).
    • ,
  • Pass pre-employment drug test.
