The Utility Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Lodi Electric Utility warehouse. This role involves planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the activities related to the procurement, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts. The supervisor will ensure that all operations adhere to safety policies and procedures while providing excellent customer service to internal departments and staff. The position requires a proactive approach to managing warehouse operations, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve efficiency and meet departmental goals. In this supervisory role, the incumbent will lead material purchasing efforts, manage stock levels, and coordinate all warehouse operations. The supervisor will also be responsible for training and evaluating subordinate staff, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and ensuring compliance with hazardous material regulations. Responsibilities
Plan, organize, direct, and supervise day-to-day activities of the Lodi Electric Utility warehouse.

Recommend and implement policies and procedures for warehouse operations.

Lead material purchasing efforts including ordering, receiving, storing, picking, and packing.

Manage stock and plan layout of stockroom and warehouse considering turnover and related factors.

Study records and recommend actions for non-usable or slow-moving stock.

Review records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.

Act as subject matter expert on Electric Utility equipment parts and materials.

Requirements
Equivalent to completion of high school education.

Possession of a valid Driver's License (Class C) issued from the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
