Your role

Are you curious about the pricing of financial instruments and how the data is utilized in the asset management lifecycle? Are you passionate about solving business problems and making an impact? Do you want to learn more about the asset management Industry? We're looking for someone like that to:

  • support instrument pricing data sourcing, including the monitoring and establishment of controls for our pricing data
  • ensure data integrity of pricing vendor data feeding internal systems.
  • proactively identify and resolve potential problems and risks before they arise and escalating issues in a timely manner when appropriate.
  • be involved in data projects, providing reports or business analysis to support the implementation of new system flows.
  • contribute to the maintenance of the knowledge base of procedures to ensure high-levels of cross-training and standardization.

Your team

You'll be working in the Knowledge Services team in Chicago.

Sitting at the intersection of business and technology teams, Knowledge Services provides data and support to our teams around the globe. The team is a part of the Asset Management COO and has a mandate to govern and commercialize data through innovative technology and services.

Your expertise
  • preferably, a university degree in an analytical field like business or finance
  • an understanding of major security asset classes (equities, bonds, futures and OTC instruments) and key data attributes associated with them
  • excellent problem-solving skills
  • working knowledge of leading market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg) is a plus
  • intellectually curious, accountable and data driven
  • a self-started with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • an individual who possesses a positive, action-oriented attitude and understands the importance of taking initiative within a team environment
  • able to challenge the status quo and suggest viable and actionable alternative approaches
