Position: Tamil Language Consultant

Type: Hourly Contract

Compensation: $8–$12/hour (depending on experience)

Location: Remote

Duration: 5 weeks (with potential extension)

Commitment: 10-40 hours/week, fully asynchronous

Key Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated images and videos created from Tamil prompts for accuracy, fluency, and cultural relevance
• Provide linguistic and cultural feedback to improve the model’s understanding
• Identify and correct subtle linguistic and cultural nuances in AI outputs
• Experiment with Gemini and other multimodal AI tools to assess prompt effectiveness and output quality
• Document failure modes and inconsistencies to aid in model refinement
• Collaborate closely with AI researchers and engineers to enhance system performance

Ideal Qualifications

• Full professional fluency in Tamil and English
• Strong knowledge of regional Tamil dialects, idioms, and expressions
• Familiarity with Tamil and Indian cultural, social, and linguistic diversity
• Up-to-date with contemporary Tamil and Indian media and popular culture
• Interest in AI creativity tools and curiosity about linguistic‑to‑visual model interpretation
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
