1st Line Support - Onsite across 3 sites in London - £130 per day Inside IR35 - Short-term Contract **Your new company** A London University is looking for a Service Desk / 1st Line Support Officer to join their Service Desk Team, providing 1st Line support to staff and students on a range of queries. **Your new role** Your main responsibilities will include: - Create, update and maintain network User accounts and permissions on the accounts - Create, update and maintain access to file and network resources - Floor walk to assist students and staff when need be - Provide service desk and 1st line IT support to all members of the school - Assist in maintaining Helpdesk records and documentation - Assist other members of the IT Services team in providing general user support according to agreed Helpdesk standards - Log tickets and respond to VIP tickets via the ticketing system - Undertake any other duties as reasonably delegated by your line manager - Be on time, organised, flexible around location, friendly to users with an aim in providing excellent customer satisfaction - Escalate any queries to 2nd line staff **What you'll need to succeed** We are looking for an individual who has proven experience providing a good level of support to a wide range of users, who is a confident communicator, and is capable of working effectively in a team. **What you need to do now
