Our customer, is a leading name in the provision of MRO services to today\'s modern commercial airlines. Due to growth, they are seeking to appoint a Project Manager, to work on landing gear, located at their site in the edge of West London. <br> <br>The role: <br>The MRO Project Manager is responsible for managing landing gear overhaul events. The job holder will ensure delivery to the customer on time, on budget, and according to customer specifications. <br>There will be close work with the Product Line team, Operations, Planning, Billing and Engineering to ensure complete contract fulfilment with superior resultsin customer satisfaction. <br>One of the main objectives for this position is to increase profitability for each overhaul event. <br> <br>Daily Duties: <br>Responsible for completing landing gear overhaul events on time and on budget. <br>To maximize customer satisfaction. <br>Ensure complete customer contract fulfilment on events. <br>Manage the progress of overhaul events and direct responsible parties to ensure that the event progress is in line with company and customer interest. <br>Coordinate technical requirements with the Engineering team. <br>Support in coordinate schedule changes with the Planning team. <br>Provide feedback regarding the overhaul event status to the Account Manager (e.g. planned delivery, scrap material, cost) and Customer Support Specialist. <br> <br>Education & Qualifications: <br>Experience in the Aerospace industry desirable. <br>Bachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred. <br>Experience working with technical records or airline CAMO / part management processes. Ideally, the candidate shall be from MRO background. <br>Organisational talent, high own initiative, high conflict ability and analytical skills. <br>Must have strong written and oral communication skills. <br>Excellent ability to analyse figures and financial reviews. <br> <br>Working conditions: <br>~ Monday – Friday <br>~5s standard <br>~38 hours per week <br>~ May require working additional overtime hours <br>~ Working with computers and screens for prolonged periods <br> <br> <br>Full job spec available, contact Simon Portway.
