Public Finance Banker

<div><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES </strong><br/><br/><ul><li>Prepare written proposals and pitch books and make presentations to prospective and existing client base.</li><li>Work with other members of the Public Finance team to increase market share, productivity and profitability.</li><li>Contact governmental bodies for discovery of data; analyzing data; and working with analytical team and trading desk on market indications and bond structuring.</li><li>Analyze credit quality of issuer based on criteria established by the rating agencies and general market conditions and work with analytical team on evaluating the need for bond insurance.</li><li>Work with the analytical team to prepare credit rating and investor presentations</li><li>Work with bond counsel or underwriter's counsel regarding legal aspects of the financing and determine if the financing conflicts with any legal or regulatory issues.</li><li>Actively pursue new public finance business and identify marketing and brand recognition opportunities for the department.</li><li>Adhere to regulatory restrictions in the conduct of business activities</li><li>Cross-sell other departments when appropriate.</li><li>Performs other tasks as assigned by management.</li></ul><br/><br/>#LI-DNI<br/><br/></div>
