The NIH Clinical Center Nursing Department seeks a GS 13 Nurse Consultant for the Nursing Operations Office of Recruitment Outreach and Workforce Management. The Nurse Consultant is responsible for input, tracking, and analysis of recruitment and retention data to assist the NIH Clinical Center with the development and implementation of nursing workforce strategies and initiatives. The ROWM Nurse Consultant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, managing human capital programs such as nursing and healthcare professionals retention, recruitment, outreach, succession planning, workforce development and talent management; conducting analyses of personnel statistics and implementing strategies to improve staff retention and workforce management operations.
All positions require US citizenship. R—RNcense from any State of US territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare recruitment, knowledge of advanced recruitment and retention strategies in a large academic healthcare facility, and basic knowledge of Federal Government hiring authorities. BSN and MSN or MS in a related field preferred.
