Position: Mid Career Mechanical Engineer
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $82/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Create structured tasks and deliverables based on common mechanical engineering scenarios and problem statements.
- Apply practical mechanical engineering knowledge to support AI research and evaluation workflows.
- Translate real-world engineering processes, calculations, and decision-making into clear documentation.
- Contribute domain-specific insights to improve the accuracy and relevance of AI-generated outputs.
- Work independently and asynchronously while meeting project timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Up to a Master’s degree or up to 3 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Mid-career background in mechanical engineering or related fields.
- Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and clarity.
- Ability to clearly explain engineering concepts, workflows, and solutions.
- Comfortable working independently in a fully remote, project-based environment.
