Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Define product vision, strategy, go-to-market and distribution plans, and product value proposition.
  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and evaluate competitive landscape to develop insights and identify opportunities.
  • Define capabilities for new payment products, prioritize use cases, and design minimum viable product features and user stories.
  • Design and lead test & learn pilots, refining the product roadmap based on learnings.
  • Own, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap, including new features, services, markets, integrations, and product updates.
  • Partner with the Delivery and Technology teams to groom, prioritize, and execute the product backlog in an agile environment.
  • Support the development of new products, services, features, and technology applications, including writing user stories and defining personas.
  • Engage with internal business partners to understand customer needs, flesh out use cases, and co-develop solutions.
  • Manage projects from concept through execution to shape a rich and engaging customer experience.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA degree program with graduation between December 2026 and July 2027.
  • Passion for payments, fintech, and the evolving payments landscape; knowledge of the payments industry and disruptive technologies is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking and ability to translate market and industry trends into opportunities.
  • Project management experience with superior organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High intellectual curiosity, creative and critical thinker with strategic thought leadership.
  • Proactive self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Collaborative team player comfortable operating in ambiguity and evolving priorities.
  • Effective communicator and influencer with excellent written and oral communication skills, proficient in preparing presentations for executive audiences.
  • Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the UK; visa sponsorship not provided.
