<p><b>Junior .NET Core Engineer</b></p><p> <b>Location:</b> Warrington (onsite) </p><p> <b>Salary:</b> £28,000 – £35,000</p><p><b>Overview</b></p><p>My client is a well-established technology-led business looking to grow its in-house development team. They’re now hiring a Junior .NET Core Engineer who’s eager to build on their existing commercial experience and develop their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.</p><p>This role will suit someone with <b>around a year’s experience in software development</b> who wants to deepen their knowledge of modern .NET, learn from experienced engineers, and get exposure to full-stack projects.</p><p><b>What you’ll be doing</b></p><ul><li>Build and maintain web applications using C# and .NET Core</li><li>Write clean, efficient, and testable code</li><li>Support integration with SQL databases</li><li>Collaborate with senior engineers and contribute to team discussions</li><li>Learn and contribute across the stack, including exposure to React and front-end development</li></ul><p><b>Tech stack</b></p><ul><li>C#, .NET Core</li><li>SQL Server</li><li>React (or similar modern JavaScript framework)</li><li>Azure DevOps and CI/CD exposure is a bonus</li></ul><p><b>Who we’re looking for</b></p><ul><li>Around 1+ year of commercial experience in software development</li><li>Strong foundation in C# and .NET Core</li><li>Understanding of SQL and relational databases</li><li>Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and improving your skills</li><li>Strong communicator and team player</li></ul><p><b>Process</b></p><ul><li>Video screen</li><li>Technical task</li><li>Final onsite interview and code review</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and fast-moving tech team where you’ll gain hands-on experience, work with modern tools, and grow your career as a .NET developer.</p>
