They will conduct interviews or research to obtain an understanding of existing and new processes. They will analyze process flows through observation and through review of documented process maps/narratives to identify control strengths and weaknesses within a process or entity.</p><p></p><p><b><u>Responsibilities and Duties </u></b></p><ul><li>Assists in developing audit programs which will test compliance with UPS procedures, General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and other standard business practices</li><li>Participates in audits on existing processes utilizing developed audit programs</li><li>Assists with composing and finalizing audit reports</li><li>Participates in general business responsibilities and duties</li><li>Works on Internal Control projects to improve efficiency and to develop new processes</li><li><span><span>Domiciled in the Atlanta, Georgia area with the ability to report to office 3 days per week (In-Person) </span></span></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Knowledge and Skills</u></b></p><ul><li>Demonstrates the ability to problem-solve</li><li>Possesses critical analysis skills</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills</li><li>Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or related fields – Preferred</li><li>Experience with data analytics tools - Preferred</li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Employee Type:</b></p>Intern<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left">UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:left"><b>Other Criteria: </b></p><p style="text-align:left">UPS is an equal opportunity employer.
