Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Honolulu, HI

A specialized nursing opportunity is available for a registered nurse with ICU expertise, based in Honolulu, HI. This contract role requires a strong background in critical care nursing within a Medical ICU setting at a Level I Trauma Center. The candidate will be entrusted with providing advanced patient care while also being flexible to support ICU, Stepdown, and Telemetry units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license
• Current BLS/HCP, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• CPI certification or equivalent preferred
• Specialty certification such as CCRN highly desired
• Must pass EKG exam with at least 80% during orientation
• Minimum of two years full-time RN experience in a Medical ICU at a Level I Trauma Center
• CRRT experience highly desired
• Previous experience with this healthcare systems travelers preferred
• All licenses and certifications must remain valid through contract duration

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level nursing care in ICU, with occasional float support to Stepdown and Telemetry units based on facility needs
• Adhere to compliance deadlines; all requirements must be met 10 days before contract start to avoid delays
• Commitment to work the full initial contract period without requesting time off
