Role Description:

Heat Transfer team engineer working specifically on the Sealed System Module for a Trans Regional Sales  to the Middle East market (Saudi Arabia) (220/240VAC, 60Hz)

Candidate Requirements:

-       Proficient knowledge of Thermodynamics and Vapor Compression Systems (i.e Refrigeration, Heat Pump, Air Conditioning)

-       Compressor, Condenser, Filter-Drier, Capillary, Evaporator, Tubing

-       Proficient knowledge of Sealed System design including Compressor performance and capillary size design to achieve required system performance

-       Proficient with FMEA and DVP&Rs (test plans)

-       Proficient with Global Test Standards (IEC, UL)

-       Proficient with Global Projects, Teams, and Suppliers

-       Proficient with Part Release, CAD, Drawings and appropriate requirements 

-       Basic experience with Copper Tubing design, routing, and manufacturing

-       Basic experience with electronics (Capacitors, Wiring Harness, etc)

-       Fluent English

Responsibilities include:

-       Own the compressor design selection

-       Own the capillary design to match system performance

-       Work with Electronics Team to source a matching capacitor for the compressor

-       Evaluate and execute additional design change requirements (tube routing)

-       Design of 60hz Water pump assembly for HP models

-       Collaborate with Product Approval engineers to understand the DVP&R test plan requirements

-       Develop the component and module level test plans including internal and external requirements (working with Product Approval and Codes and Safety Engineers)

-       Execute the test plan (submit LabRequests to relevant labs, work with lab org, follow up on test results, resolve any issues)

-       Update the Sealed System FMEA to include new potential failures for the new model

-       Collaborate with the Settings File team for machine tuning and SF adjustments needed to match new system performance.

-       Deliver module within Cost, Quality, and Timeline requirements
