Guest First Aid Paramedic

About the position

As a Paramedic at Walt Disney World, you will utilize your medical skills to assist guests experiencing medical needs, ensuring their safety and well-being while they enjoy their vacation. This role involves providing first aid, collaborating with nursing staff, and maintaining high standards of care and documentation in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Make initial contact with guests presenting medical needs.

• Listen to guests and provide first aid solutions.

• Perform vital signs and elevate care to a Registered Nurse when necessary.
,
• Collaborate with nurses for minor and urgent care treatment.
,
• Assist with transport arrangements for guests.
,
• Help guests with medication and medical equipment storage.
,
• Complete daily checklists and maintain treatment areas.
,
• Stock and inventory medical supplies and equipment.
,
• Maintain a clean work environment and follow disinfecting protocols.

• Document and maintain accurate records of interactions and treatments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years as a Paramedic.

• Current BLS Certification.
,
• National Paramedic Certification.
,
• State of Florida Paramedic Certification.
,
• Compassionate bedside manner and a desire to provide excellent care.

• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry objects up to 30 lbs.

• Excellent hearing and vision for patient assessment.
,
• Sharp time management skills.
,
• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Commitment to patient confidentiality.

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.

• Basic computer skills and ability to work with a laptop/desktop.

• Valid Florida Driver's License.
