The company is looking for an experienced, talented individual to function as General Ledger Analyst.
Key Performance Indicators:
Managing and preparation of financial reports, records, and accounts.
Finalize accurate reports on daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting submissions to President CEO and senior management.
Maintenance of the general ledger.
Execute Financial analysis and accounting reconciliation of the General ledger.
Examine and evaluate financial information systems, accounting books for efficiency, effectiveness use of accepted accounting procedures.
Scope of Responsibilities: Manage general accounting and financial processes of company, review and analyze AR and AP, keep track on operational expense, perform financial transactions / Journal entries, closing activities among others and hoc analysis.
Essential Functions & Duties:
Managing and preparation of financial reports, records, and accounts.
Finalize accurate reports on daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting submissions to President CEO and senior management.
Maintenance of the general ledger.
Execute Financial analysis and accounting reconciliation of the General ledger.
Examine and evaluate financial information systems, accounting books for efficiency, effectiveness use of accepted accounting procedures.
Entering financial data and transactions into the ledger.
Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and reconciling accounts.
Analyzing financial data.
Ensuring financial records comply with regulatory standards.
Generating financial reports.
Collaborating with other departments to complete accurate records and provide accounting support.
Supporting the Auditor, CFO and other financial professionals in their duties as needed.
Support monthly closing activities.
Assist with A/P, A/R, Bank and Credit Card reconciliations, other reconciliations as needed; cash management, budgeting and reporting and organization, filing of company documents.
Keep close records on the collection, account receivable and provide information to support the collection process
Perform subledger and general ledger account reconciliations.
Support cash management, cash flow and budgeting and reporting and organization.
Assist with inventory and fixed asset controls, including participating in asset counts; monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Performs customer invoice process in NetSuite
Collaborate and assist in the training of accounting, finance, and other Health Genesis teammates.
Work on various accounting projects as needed.
Work in accordance with FDA rules and regulations; to include audits or census; NSF, CCOF, Eco Cert and others that may be applicable to the company business.
Assist with Audits; FDA, NSF, CCOF and other compliance audits as needed.
Assist the Accounting CFO as needed.
Carry out other functions and tasks within the Position’s scope of responsibilities as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time.
Salary: $24 - 28 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
