Job description:
Implementing age-appropriate educational activities and lessons.
Promoting social, emotional, and intellectual development through play, storytelling, arts and crafts, and other interactive methods.
Assisting children with developing basic skills such as counting, letter recognition, and fine motor skills.
Observing and evaluating children's behavior, progress, and learning abilities.
Collaborating with parents or guardians to address any concerns or provide updates on their child's development.
Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
Ensuring the well-being and safety of all children in their care.
Guiding children in developing good habits, such as hygiene, sharing, and following routines.
Providing positive reinforcement, encouragement, and support to promote self-esteem and confidence.
Collaborating with other teachers and staff members in order to maintain a healthy working environment.
Requirements:
Education and Certification: A minimum requirement for preschool teaching is a diploma in early childhood.
Experience: Prior experience working with young children, in preschool setting, is preferred.
Patience and Communication Skills: communicate clearly and engage children in a positive manner. Also, be able to communicate effectively with parents or guardians
Creativity and Flexibility: possess creativity to design engaging and stimulating activities for children, flexible in adapting their teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and individual needs
Organization and Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills for managing a classroom and planning educational activities. Preschool teachers should be able to create and follow schedules, maintain records, and manage resources effectively
Physical Stamina: physically fit and have the stamina to actively engage with children throughout the day
