Your role

As part of the Digital Advisory Team, you will have the assigned responsibilities which include:

  • You will work as part of a team, and develop consulting skills across all areas of the business whilst gaining experience in technology appraisal, business analysis, process improvement, enterprise architecture, technology business case development, digital delivery and integration, knowledge management, experience design, service design, digital decarbonization, and climate risk, as well as the specification and operations of technology systems and services.
  • This role will be focussed on technology and strategy consultancy projects across the sectors primarily work in – Transport, Energy, Water, and Cities. 
  • You will have the opportunity to specialize, as early or late as you like, around specific topics such as data, business analysis, and technology.

About you

To apply for this role you need to have the following eligibility criteria:

  • At least a bachelor's degree (ideally a 2:1 or equivalent) in a relevant subject such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems Analysis, or Systems Engineering is required.
  • Arup is keen for you to also have an understanding of the following areas:
    • Technology / Digital strategy – understanding of how digital technology can support or drive organizational or industry-level change. Able to analyze and articulate how technology can create business value and commercial advantage.   
    • Information systems & architecture – ability to examine the role and effectiveness of information systems in delivering business processes and goals. Technical ability to examine the integration between systems in creating value.   
    • Data & information – understanding of data and information management principles, including organization, storage, dissemination, and security considerations, together with the ability to identify opportunities to leverage data and information.
