Clinical Supervisor

About the position

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day functions of assigned staff and ensure quality care delivery.
• Provide weekly individual and group supervision to staff according to agency standards.
• Ensure services are high quality, culturally responsive, and outcomes driven.
• Supervise the provision of various clinical treatment modalities and provide training.
• Ensure accurate client documentation is submitted within established timeframes.
• Monitor employee caseloads for balanced intakes and discharges.
• Administer quality assurance procedures including record reviews.
• Provide timely feedback on employee performance and encourage growth.
• Maintain current professional license and assist with treatment and billing information.
• Carry a clinical caseload as determined by program needs.
• Represent the agency at community meetings and marketing events.
• Collaborate with clinical managers, directors, and the Chief Clinical Officer.
• Work with Human Resources to ensure proper placement of student interns.
• Display sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the service population.

Requirements

• Licensed in California as an LCSW, Psychologist, or LMFT.
• At least 2 years of post-license experience and completion of mandatory supervisor's training.
• Experience providing direct service to individuals, families, and groups.
• Experience treating children, adults, and families with serious emotional problems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated skills using DSM IV and V.
• Ability to administer a complex program with attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as a team member.
• Knowledge and sensitivity to cultural differences.
• Valid CA Driver's License and maintains insurability on the Agency's auto liability policy.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
