Good day! We currently have a new localization project on-going and requesting Chinese to Polish/ Ukrainian/ Malay linguistic service support. We hope to find linguists who have experience with localization and are good at doing reviews. Task description: You will work as a reviewer and validate the translation quality assessments by reviewing the errors, severity ratings, suggested corrections and overall scoring. Your goal is to verify accuracy, linguistic credibility, domain fit, and alignment with target market norms, ensuring that output meets quality expectations. Content type: App content (UI text strings and In-app messages) and Google play content (App descriptions, Title and short promotional texts and Store banner) Marketing materials (EDMs, Push notifications, Promotional banners, Banners published by external partners and App store & Google play descriptions) Operational policy documentation related to overseas fulfillment and marketplace guidelines (Logistics and fulfillment performance standards, After-sales dispute resolution procedures (e.g., return policy) and In-platform communications such as merchant announcements and internal messages)
Core responsibility • Review the outputs provided, including: Error type classification (e.g., accuracy, terminology, fluency) Severity level (None, Minor, Major, Critical) Suggested correction and justification Final Quality score calculation and decision (Pass/Fail) • Validate terminology and tone consistency with e-commerce standards • Ensure all findings align with the intended meaning and naturalness in the target language • Adjust misclassified errors or inappropriate rated severities • Provide feedback on false positives or omissions in the original assessment
Qualification: • Native speaker with more than 3 years of experience in translation, localization, LQA or similar linguistic work in e-commerce/retail field or app content. • Proven experience in translating/reviewing policy, legal and survey/research/test materials is preferred. • High proficiency in English, able to fully understand instructions • Strong understanding of app UI convention, mobile content tone • Reliable and responsive communication and adherence to project specific instructions and deadlines If you are interested in this project, please send your updated resume to wenqing.lv@centific.com and confirm the following: 1.
