Join TUI’s 12-month placement programme to gain hands-on experience in Commercial roles, working on real projects within a global tourism leader.

Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:

  • Spend 12 months within either the Trading or Planning & Product team, supporting a portfolio of destinations and making key commercial decisions.
  • In Trading (Beach or Cruise), manage pricing and availability to maximise profits by analysing sales trends and market conditions.
  • In Planning & Product, support product development, pricing strategies, and commercial performance analysis to drive holiday growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with hotel buyers, trading teams, and other internal departments to ensure competitive pricing and product availability.
  • Use data and market insights to inform pricing actions and product content adjustments.
  • Engage with senior colleagues and business directors through meetings and project presentations.
  • Participate in shadowing, team meetings, and cross-departmental activities.

About You

The company is looking for:

  • Structured, focused, enthusiastic, proactive, curious, and conscientious.
  • Confident and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to understand others’ perspectives.
  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 or C (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • Commitment to completing a placement year starting in 2026 as part of your third year at university.
  • Proficient user of the MS Office suite.
  • Passion for travel and holidays is beneficial.
