We are seeking a Billing and Recovery Officer to join our team at North Northamptonshire Council. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive environment where your skills in billing and debt recovery will make a real impact.

Key Details:

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location: Hybrid role. Offices based in Thrapston, Kettering, Corby, and Wellingborough. We are flexible with office location and working arrangements.

Ideally 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Flexible working available

Fully remote working can be considered

About the Role:
You will be responsible for managing billing and recovery processes efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with council policies and procedures. The role will involve liaising with residents and businesses, resolving queries, and supporting income collection.

What We're Looking For:

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines

Experience in billing, recovery, or similar financial administration is desirable
