About the position

As an Amazon XL Warehouse Associate, you will be part of a team responsible for handling large and heavy customer orders, including items like big screen TVs, furniture, and appliances. This role involves operating powered industrial trucks and using technology to manage inventory and fulfill orders efficiently. The position is seasonal and offers flexible shifts, allowing you to work in a dynamic warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) that reach heights up to 40 feet.

• Receive, sort, and put away heavy and bulky inventory.

• Load boxes into trucks for shipment.

• Use technology such as computers and smartphones to follow prompts and directions for tasks.

• Lift up to 49 pounds and handle products heavier than 50 pounds safely.

• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach frequently during shifts.
,
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around.
,
• Go up and down stairs as required.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English.
